A strong duo revolutionizes the German aperitif market

Berlin, February 24, 2025 – ODE is pleased to have found a strong distribution partner in Joh. Eggers Sohn GmbH. As of March 1, 2025, Eggerssohn will take over the distribution of the Berlin brand ODE and bring the innovative, natural aperitifs to upscale specialist retailers and gastronomy. Together, we are setting new standards for modern aperitif culture.

Less sugar, more flavor – ODE Aperitif sets new accents

ODE redefines aperitifs: with natural ingredients, less sugar, and unique flavors. The base is hand-picked premium Riesling from vintner Nico Espenschied from Rheinhessen, refined with exquisite botanicals. The result: a modern aperitif in two varieties:

ODE Bright Lemon – A homage to citrus fruit with Amalfi, bergamot, cedro, and Verna lemons, peach, apricot, bitter roots, and floral essences of jasmine, artichoke, and thyme.

ODE Ruby Wood – Fruity-bitter with gentian, red sandalwood, bitter and sweet oranges, Mediterranean herbs, and floral elements like hibiscus.

• ODE Lemon Spritz – Sparkling, fresh, perfect for summer evenings. With sparkling wine/Prosecco and mineral water.

• ODE Ruby Tonic – Herbaceous, elegant, a favorite with tonic water.
